      Thank you for taking the time to visit my web site. I hope you will check in throughout the campaign to learn more about my candidacy and how you can get involved!

      It has been a privilege to serve you over the last four years and I consider myself blessed  to represent the most diverse and interesting district in the City. In it, we have everything from  3 institutions of higher learning (Baptist Theological Seminary, Presbyterian School of Christian Education and Virginia Union University), beautiful parks, convenient  neighborhood business districts on MacArthur and Bellevue  Avenues and Brookland Park  Boulevard to the grandest homes in Richmond, and everything in between. The challenges  and opportunities are just as diverse.

      I am proud to have been at your side and am thrilled at all we've accomplished. However, while I'm proud of all we've achieved, there is still more to do. I want to work for a City that we are all proud to live in. A City that is vibrant and thriving. A City that has a safe, healthy and productive citizenry. A City that works.

      I believe Richmond can be as great as we want it to be. I ask for and need your support in making that happen.

      My agenda for the next four years remains focused. I will continue to work for a major reduction in crime, for safe neighborhoods, for the improvement of our schools and for a strong infrastructure. I will continue my efforts to eliminate blight in neighborhoods and to provide strong, sensible economic development opportunities for Richmond.

      I am energized to hit the campaign trail again and am as optimistic and excited today as I was on the first  day of office. I am talking with folks about what we've achieved and what I'm working on. More importantly, I’am listening to citizens talk about what they think is important for Richmond.

      I am so grateful for your confidence and trust and it is with the utmost appreciation that I  ask for your  continued support, and your vote on November 4th for another term on  Richmond City Council.
