To ensure safe neighborhoods, Chris has:

Voted for funding for 100 new police officers to patrol the streets.

Supported supplement for our prosecutor's office to attract and retain the best attorneys.

Fought for the 30% reduction in crime we’ve experienced, in the Third District alone, since 2004.


Advocated for the implementation of community & sector policing.

Enacted legislation which allowed judges to ban
convicted prostitutes from our communities - with 2 of the 3 designated areas in Northside.

Co-patroned the resolution to relocate 4th Police precinct to Chamberlayne Ave.
